Grey Poupon
Copper Drip
Medium: Oil & Acrylic on CanvasDimensions: 30" x 40"
2010
Copper Drip, is one of those paintings you need to actually see close up. The texture is what makes the true essence of the piece. I should post another photo showing the depth it has. I have recently been working with fabrics in the Interior Design industry. I never realized how much texture in a fabric can make a tan or beige a look interesting.

Sneak Peek
Medium: Oil, Gold leaf, Resin
Dimension: 12" x 30"
2010
These paintings are one of my newest creations. There are four at this point, two more are in the works. Incorporating the oil, gold leaf, and resin has given the oil paint a look I have never achieved before. The high gloss lacquer finish gives these pieces an edge that makes the work pristine. The gold leaf acts like a piece of jewelry. I messed up one of my favorite ones by of course overworking a piece yet again. (I tend to do that often)... It's amazing what you can do when you first have the idea to do it, and then get obsessed with that idea and make it happen. I love these new ones, and this is just a little sneak peek towards what is to come soon.

Graffiti City
Medium: Oil, Acrylic & PolyurethaneDimensions: 24" x 36"
2009
My memoirs of New York are a reflection in this painting. I have always enjoyed the diverse culture as well as translation of others art. Waiting for a subway to come was always the time I would daze out into the dirty subways and get a lot of inspiration. I always enjoyed looking at the grime that the years of pollution created. N.Y.'s subway terminals have had over 100 years of history that is hard to clean.

Open Air
Medium: Oil & AcrylicDimensions: 6' x 8'
2004
This painting is one of my first large paintings after graduating school. I love this one due to the color selection as well as the size. I'm going to start doing large pieces again. This was a piece done in N.Y., the studio I was working in had nice dry heat which made the layering process a lot easier for me. Here in San Diego I can't seem to get the same effect because of the moisture in the air. Due to the size, I believe this one would look great in contemporary loft or a hotel. It needs an open environment to enjoy it to the fullest.
